Highlighting the Line, first proposed to the Friends of the High Line in 2003, was in 2004 incorporated to the High Line competition project of Steven Holl Architects with Hargraves Associates and HNTB team. For the project, I served as artist and design consultant. Nine years later, in 2013, I sent a second proposal to the Friends of the High Line, this time with a solely female team that proposed a sustainable pilot project. In the same year, for a NYSCA research application entitled InfoArt Underline, I presented a broader InfoArt project that seeks to globally expand and integrate the fields of art, communication, education, and renewable energy.
