Pirâmide Aberta, 2015-2017
In 2014, led by a desire to paint with meaningful materiality, I created my own paint. The following year, I came to this symbolic, multilevel image. Just as in Diagonal System (1987–83), I sought to develop multi-dimensional spaces.

Wet Sand Shell, painting, 2016, derived from the dream: Woman with Wet Sand Shell Hair Dream Image 1, April 17, 2014 – There was a woman with hair made out of wet sand and shells. She could have been at the shore or lying on the bottom of the ocean floor. In the place of hair there was wet sand and shells. It’s very hard to portray a woman with wet sand hair in either a drawing or a sculpture.
